This centennial home in the Monarch Park neighbourhood went through a major remodel. An entire third floor was also added, which was entirerly dedicated to the master bedroom, its ensuite and a large patio. Modern millwork such as custom white-oak vanities, niches, window seating, night-stand & various shelving areas define the style of this house. A trademark of this house is the powder-room, where a historic wall was preserved showcasing various touches of its successive owners.
Large renovation of an Etobicoke property. We mixed the old and the new by pairing some 150 year-old reclaimed hardwood with very modern features. We have used concrete for the powder-room sink, the dining table, and for a colossal fireplace-bench in the lounge area. Some custom murals on the second floor and in the powder-room are also features of this interior. A large Italian kitchen, a vertical fireplace and pure white walls with minimal decor and art turned this home into a real seren haven.
Modern remodel of an Oakville bungalow. Large windows were added to brighten up the space and open up the house towards the sumptuous ravine lot. We brought in the warmth of the outdoors in natural elements and touches. Design features of this home include a brick wall in the dining room, a modern Italian kitchen, a custom desk "camouflaged" in the living area, glass dividers between the rooms, a long concrete fireplace, the use of reclaimed pine for shelving and for wrapping up the bar.
Complete renovation of a traditional 1990's builder home. A beautiful property located right on a dense forest. We wanted to capture the outdoors but keep the inside bright and minimal. A large Scavolini kitchen featuring matte glass finishes which hosts ample storage and counter space. The living area features large lift and slide doors that capture the outdoor scenery, skylights and 20' lofted ceilings. A very unique space to work with.
Modern redesign of an old extension on a Forest Hill home. This was a tricky space as we had to keep the existing step into the kitchen. We did all white matte cabinetry, white corian countertops with a custom recessed shelf on the back of the island. The space is now bright and airy, yet also inviting.
The Roselawn residence is an attached-home in the Yonge and Eglinton area. We worked on opening up all the walls and bringing in as much light as possible. Bold colours, rustic-style floors and minimal design and decor describe well the interior renovation of this home.
Complete remodel of the bathroom in an early 1900's Toronto home. The space was taken all the way down to the studs and joists and completely restructured. The bathroom features a floating toilet, shower with infinity drain system, floating corian clad shower bench and free standing tub. Storage was key for the busy family, so the vanity features ample space, upper medicine cabinets and an additional tall storage unit with integrated ironing board.
